The Black Moor Goldfish (Corassius ouratus) is a great looking fish, with matte black skin and large black eyes that stick out from their bodies. Because of their telescope eyes, they have a hard time seeing their food and need to be in a fish tank where there are no sharp edges on the fish tank decorations.
A good filter system in your freshwater fish tank not only removes waste from your water, but acts like the filtration system in nature. The main job of a filtration system is to remove unwanted ammonia and nitrites from your fish tank and remove debris and waste from the water. Freshwater aquarium filters also provide an oxygen source by producing water bubbles and water flow.
When you first start to decorate your tropical fish tank, you may want to put everything under the sun in your aquarium. Some people even put stuff from their yard in the tank, and that is not a good idea.
